DESCRIPTION:
The Flexhorn is a one-way amplified horn speaker. Complete with speaker amplifier, built-in volume control and mounting bracket. The horn is weather proof and can be used indoors or outdoors in environments ranging from
-4 to +131 °F (-20 to +55 °C). The Flexhorn may be mounted to walls using the supplied universal bracket, mounts to
steel "I" beams using the supplied "C" clamp or flush mounted in a wall.

MODEL V-1080 FLEXHORN™
The V-1080 Flexhorn shall consist of a high efficiency re-entrant type weather-proof horn, built-in amplifier with
> 600 ohm input impedance and built-in volume control. It shall be equipped with a universal mounting bracket,
volume control and an "I" beam clamp.
The frequency response of the horn shall be 400 Hz to 10 kHz The horn shall have a continuous power rating
of 3 watts. Dispersion shall be 120 degrees horizontal and 90 degrees vertical.
The housing shall be constructed of filled polypropylene and be available in gray, white or beige. All hardware
shall be stainless steel. The universal bracket shall be constructed of 16 awg CRS and finished with a weather
resistant black E-Coat.
The amplifier shall have a frequency response of 400 Hz to 10 kHz. Amplifier audio impedance shall be > 600
ohms. Amplifier audio input shall be -10 dBm line level at rated output of 4 watts RMS. Signal to noise ratio shall be
-70 dB.
The amplifier shall operate on a -24 Vdc nominal, positive ground power supply. Operating current shall be
200 mA at -24 Vdc. Operating temperatures shall be -4 to +131 °F (-20 to +55 °C).
A screwdriver adjustable volume control shall be provided on the unit. This volume control shall be externally
accessible, making it possible to adjust the volume control without removal of the unit.
Dimensions of the horn shall be 6.8" (17.3 cm) H x 8.3" (21.1 cm) W x 3.3" (8.4 cm) D. The weight shall be
2.75 lbs (1.25 kg).
