The V-1048C is a weather resistant reentrant 45 ohm, talkback horn speaker, complete with horn housing, mounting base and I-beam clamp.

MODEL V-1048C 45 OHM TALKBACK HORN
The 45 Ohm Talkback Horn, Model V-1048C, shall be weather-resistant, high efficiency reentrant type horn with high
frequency diffuser. It shall include a detachable base for wall or single, double or octagon electrical box mounting and omnidirectional
ball joint mounting bracket to allow precise positioning in the vertical and horizontal planes with a single adjustment.
An I-beam mounting clamp shall also be provided.
The frequency response shall be 275 Hz to 14 kHz. Dispersion shall be 120° horizontal and 90° vertical. Voice coil
impedance shall be 45 ohms. Operating temperature shall be -4 to 131 °F (-20 to 55 °C). Operating humidity shall be
0-95% non-condensing.
The horn shall be constructed of high impact ABS plastic. The mounting base shall be constructed of LEXAN® an ultra
high impact material which is stronger and tougher than die casting. The finish shall be beige with brown accents. The I-beam
mounting clamp shall be constructed of zinc chromate plated steel.
Dimensions of the horn shall be 7.38" (18.75 cm) H x 10.0" (25.40 cm) W x 10.4" (26.42 cm) D. Shipping weight shall
be approximately 4.4lbs (2.0 kg).
