AT&T Merlin Classic Phone Systems

The AT&T Merlin phone system was a groundbreaking phone system when it debuted.  The Merlin was one of the first telephone systems ever made.  They were produced in the 1970's and into the 1980's by AT&T and millions of them were sold.

The AT&T Merlin phone system was really comprised of two different phone systems, the 410 and the 820.  The major difference between the two was the number of phone lines and telephones the system would operate.

AT&T also produced what was called Feature Packages, ie Feature package 1 and feature package 2, which were used to add basic features such as intercom, to the phone system.

Also, a separate music on hold card was developed that covered both paging and music on hold.  

The Merlin phone systems all used the BIS and HFAI phones.  While many different models were produced, the BIS-10 and the HFAI-10 were the most popular.  Here at AdamTelco.com, we still maintain a large inventory or refurbished Merlin phone systems.
